The project "CZ.01.3.10/0.0/0.0/19_251/0022361 Modernization of melting furnaces at IEG s.r.o." is co-financed by the European Union.
The subject of the project is the replacement of the source and control system of 2 melting furnaces and the modification of the software for the control and monitoring of the furnaces, with the aim of reducing the consumption of electricity and increasing the energy efficiency of the operation of the equipment.
Financial support from the European Union is provided for the implementation of the project within the Operational Program Entrepreneurship and Innovation for Competitiveness (OP PIK).
In the period July 2021 - January 2022, the installation of new power sources and regulation systems for both of our induction melting furnaces will take place. Thanks to this, we will be able to melt more material in the same time window, which will improve the capacity capabilities of the foundry, while reducing the average consumption of annealing furnaces per 1 kg of casting.
